About Jaxson - the real moon

Jaxson was a fearless professional snowboarder who competed in an exciting array of Rev tours, Grand Prix events, and World Cups that took him to captivating locations all over the globe. While boarding one day, Jaxson took a fall while attempting a trick he had successfully executed countless times before—a crash that would forever change his life. He suffered a devastating traumatic brain injury. For what felt like an eternity, he lay in the ICU, his recovery questionable and his future uncertain. Fortunately, his resilience prevailed. When stable, Jaxson transitioned to in-patient rehab, where he faced the daunting challenge of relearning how to walk, forging new neuro pathways, and regaining the ability to use the right side of his body. Eventually returning home, he continued his recovery with outpatient therapy for several months, which focused on refining his motor skills and mastering the art of slowing down his racing brain. Jaxson not only crushed his recovery but also exceeded all the ambitious benchmarks set by his team of doctors. Today, Jaxson proudly holds his series 100 in coaching and dedicates his time to guiding the next generation of aspiring snowboarders, instilling in them the same passion that once drove him down the slopes, through the good times and the bad. From his experience, he has developed into so much more than a snowboarder. He’s a driven leader and an inspiration, committed to sharing his story and helping others avoid what he went through.
